Loron Orris is a Founding Partner of Asia Sports Tech (AST) whose mission is transform and empower the Sports, Esports, Health and Wellbeing ecosystems for Asia’’s 4.5 billion consumers by leveraging breakthrough IPs and technologies. AST creates opportunities for companies to achieve success in Asia by leveraging our over 100 years of experience and our global network to provide market entry and commercialisation strategies and capital advisory services (from $1 million investments in start ups to IPO’s) for a wide range of leading international clients. Loron has over 30 years of experience in Asia and has held roles as the Managing Director of NBA Asia, the Managing Director of Imax Japan, and the Regional Director at the Ivey Business School’s Hong Kong Campus. Loron mentors at leading Sports Innovation Hubs and Accelerators in the US including Stadia Ventures and is the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong’s Sports Committee . He also lectures at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the IVEY Business School. Loron graduated with a MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Canada’s Western University.
